I had a fabulous stay at the Hyatt with my grandson. The elegant ambiance, comfortable rooms, and good buffet breakfast were highlights. I loved the inviting main lounge areas. A few service hiccups occurred, but overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We recently stayed at the hyatt and really enjoyed our experience. the staff were attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our time there. the breakfast was impressive, with a wide variety of options to try. we also appreciated that our accessible room had plenty of space for my elderly mother, making our stay more comfortable. overall, the hotel’s location was perfect for us, and we would definitely consider returning.

unique base for discovering canberra with very professional and competent staff by both management and staff. comfortable bed, brand-new room with a fantastic view of lake. lovely swimming pool and convenient and handy location close to the national library as well as sighting kangaroos hopping through the park. also, right in the centre of everything.
A bit disappointing area.

Comfortable room and friendly Staff. Club Lounge had varied options for food and drinks. Great location - Close to city and cross over the road to the Lake.

The staff seemed disinterested, and the food was poorly prepared. It felt overpriced for what we received, making dining there a frustrating experience overall.

Comfort
there is nothing that I don't like but if there is a person lead the way to our room, it would be much better as the hotel is quiet big

Json{ review: The Hyatt Hotel Canberra boasts a beautiful ambience with a classic touch. The location is advantageous, being close to Parliament House and a scenic lake. The staff's helpfulness stood out, especially during breakfast, where the selection was impressive. the room service efficiency lacked consistency at times. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-04-15}'''

Location: the hotel was really close to well run establishment as the Hyatt Canberra, and tourist attractions and city centre. The staff were dedicated, and the private parking was available...

Staff were very friendly & keen to please. Overall look & feel of hotel is nice. Good location. Not high level. Good food particularly steaks.
The hotel needs to decide who it wants to attract. The facilities ( pool, change rooms etc) are badly in need of renovation. We normally have a swim at 6pm. 6 children of around 10 Y.O. were "bombing" the pool so we walked out. Other older patrons also came in for a swim, turned around and walked out as the noise & splash was too much. Suggest under 18s strictly are allowed in between 10 am & 4 pm only. TVs in rooms need to be upgraded & DVDs added. Beers need to be served colder. Time taken to serve beverages & meals is too long. Needs to be within 4 minutes. We waited 16 minutes for ordered drinks in the lounge area.

The highs and the lows
This charming heritage hotel boasts spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with gorgeous bathrooms. The prompt room service added to the experience.
Unfortunately, the service at check-in was frustrating, with long wait times and poor management of guest lines. It left a sour impression for what should be a luxury hotel experience.
